Northwest Florida State College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award baccalaureate and associate degrees, certificates and diplomas. From August 1964, when the college first opened its doors, through 2002, the college has served more than 194,000 individuals in credit and non-credit programs, and has awarded more than 17,800 degrees.
